Uses:
Bambusa vulgaris vittata is normally used for light construction such as houses, huts, fences, scaffolding, furniture, musical instruments and handicrafts, basketry, and medicinal extracts. It is often planted as an ornamental bamboo or to form hedges to border land and can be planted on slopes to control erosion.
